We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Marketing Director to join our team and drive digital subscription growth, product sales, audience engagement, brand expansion, and social media growth.
Location: Dallas / Fort Worth
Role and Responsibilities:
As the Senior Marketing Director at Barna Group, you will be responsible for leading and executing strategic marketing initiatives to drive revenue growth, audience expansion, and brand visibility. You will work closely with cross-functional teams of Barna to develop and implement innovative marketing strategies that align with the company’s goals. Your focus areas will include:
- Digital Subscription Growth:
- Develop and execute strategies to increase digital subscription acquisition and retention rates.
- Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with the content team to create compelling campaigns that resonate with target audiences and drive subscription conversions.
- E-commerce Management and Growth:
- Lead efforts to promote and sell Barna Group’s research reports, resources, and cohort products.
- Collaborate with the business development and sales team to develop marketing materials, pricing strategies, and promotions to enhance product sales and new client acquisition.
- Utilize data-driven insights to optimize product messaging, positioning, and pricing strategies.
- Audience Engagement and Growth:
- Build and nurture strong relationships with Barna Group’s existing audience while expanding reach to new segments.
- Develop and execute multi-channel engagement strategies, including email campaigns, webinars, events, and content marketing.
- Leverage customer feedback and insights to enhance engagement strategies and provide valuable content to the audience.
- Social Media Management and Growth:
- Lead the social media strategy, increasing followers, engagement, and brand visibility across platforms.
- Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics to make data-driven decisions and optimize strategies.
- Work with other Barna content teams to generate and curate content that resonates with target audiences and aligns with Barna’s marketing objectives.
- Coordinate with Barna content teams to manage a cross-functional social media strategy.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Proven track record of at least 5-7 years in marketing roles with increasing levels of responsibility, preferably within a research, media, or related industry.
- Strong experience in digital subscription growth, product marketing, and audience engagement.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Deep understanding of market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape, especially within the Christian faith and leader landscape.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in utilizing data analytics to inform marketing strategies.
- Experience with social media management and advertising platforms.
- Creative thinker with the ability to translate ideas into actionable marketing initiatives.
- Flexible, adaptable problem-solver who can identify issues and blockers quickly and rally the team together to create solutions.
