Craig Springer

Craig Springer is Vice President of Church Engagements and Executive Director of the Spiritually Open Project at Barna Group, a leading research organization focused on the intersection of faith and culture. Craig oversees the company’s initiatives to bring insights to action for churches that leads to flourishing people within thriving churches.

Craig is the author of How to Revive Evangelism: 7 Vital Shifts in How We Share Our Faith and How to Follow Jesus: A Practical Guide for Growing Your Faith. Prior to joining Barna, Craig served as Executive Director of Alpha USA, a program that runs in over 6,000 churches across every major denomination and 600 prisons and jails throughout the country. Craig has also been a leader and pastor in influential churches in Chicago and Denver. Craig lives in Denver, Colorado, with his wife, Sarah, and two children.
