A Barna Report Produced in Partnership with Seed Company
What Spreading the Gospel Means to U.S. Christians in the 21st Century
The command to represent the gospel may be loud and clear—but it’s not necessarily simple. This study, produced in partnership with the Seed Company, gauges the Church’s comprehension of the Great Commission, as well as the many opinions about how to accomplish it. Translating the Great Commission details how the American Church really feels about communicating the gospel—in word and in deed—so that its leaders are prepared to effectively and wholeheartedly “go and make disciples of all the nations.”
Together we #IMAGINEZERO people who need Scripture.
We #IMAGINEZERO communities without a Bible.
Imagine Zero Summits are coming to 25 cities to gather and to look in expectation towards the historical moment when Scripture will be available to every language group on Earth. Together, we will discuss the implications for our churches and the Gospel over the next decade and beyond. This isn’t a conference - this is a summit of pastoral leaders in our communities who are committed to helping others find and follow Jesus.
We hope you’ll join us to #IMAGINEZERO.
Over a billion people worldwide don’t have the full Bible in the language they know best. Over 1,600 languages don’t have any Scripture at all. In our lifetime, the Bible will become available to all for church planting, evangelism and discipleship efforts led by the local Church. We’re on a mission to get the whole Bible translated into every language in this generation.
Seed Company helps link donors to locally driven Bible translation projects, with a mission to provide scripture to all languages by the year 2025. Since launching in 1993, Seed has helped contribute to Bible translations in 1,500 languages, spanning 90 countries and 6 continents, with the help of 24,000 prayer and financial partners. It is a subsidiary organization of Wycliffe USA and a participant in the Wycliffe Global Alliance.
